Due to changing and unpredictable weather/sea conditions, we may need to adjust your reservation to a different charter type for the safety of you, your guests and the captains. We do not mind fishing in the rain but if you or someone in your group does, please contact us right away. Check weather before your charter and give us a CALL/TEXT, not email, if you have any concerns.
Please note that unpredictable conditions can pop up which may limit our ability to give notice before your charter date. We adhere to the Customer Cancellations and Customer Reschedules herein this policy notification.
Out Cast Fishin Charters’ decision to cancel a charter due to inclement weather is typically made about 48 hours in advance of departure; rapidly changing conditions may require a decision with much shorter notice. If we cancel your charter due to unsafe weather or other conditions that prevent us from operating safely, our priority is to reschedule you at a convenient time; if rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
Reservations made more than 72 hours before departure:
Out Cast will reschedule your charter with no fee with advance notice of 14 days.
Rescheduling between 8 to 13 days will result in the loss of the original deposit amount and require a new deposit.
Reschedules with 7 or less days will result in the loss of the original deposit amount, require a new deposit, and incur an additional $300 fee.
Customer reschedules with 24 hours or less will be charged the full amount of the charter to the card on file — even if you have only paid the deposit, your credit card will be charged the full price of the charter. Your rescheduled booking will require a new deposit.
Contact us directly by phone or text to reschedule — not email.
A request to return to the dock for any reason, prior to the end of your charter, will not result in a credit. If you choose to continue fishing after the return, a $200.00 surcharge will be added to your charter. Returning to the dock early and heading back out is not an option on our It’s a Monsta Shark Hunt, Close-off Shore Excursion or the Deep Sea Adventures.
Each vessel has a weight limit capacity. It is your responsibility to notify us at the time of booking or with participant changes, if combined guest weights are over 1200 pounds on our smallest vessel, 24ft Sea Hunt. Weight capacities for each vessel are listed on our website under ‘The Team’ tab.
Gift cards are good toward any charter or tour. The best present you can give the angler in your life — or the one you wish would take it up already.
