The safety of our guests and crew is our highest priority. Please review the policies below before your trip. To cancel or reschedule, contact us directly by phone or text at (409) 255-0330 — email cancellations are not accepted.
Weather and sea conditions can change quickly, and Out Cast Fishin Charters reserves the sole right to determine whether conditions are safe to operate.
In some cases, changing weather or sea conditions may require us to downgrade your reservation to a different charter type for the safety of you, your guests, and our captains. We do not mind fishing in the rain; however, if you or someone in your party prefers not to fish in rainy conditions, please contact us immediately by phone or text (not email) to discuss your options.
When possible, weather-related cancellations are made approximately 48 hours prior to departure; however, rapidly changing conditions may require a decision with much shorter notice.
If Out Cast Fishin Charters cancels your charter due to unsafe weather or other conditions that prevent us from operating safely, we will first make every reasonable effort to reschedule your trip. If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
We understand that plans sometimes change. To be fair to both our customers and our captains, the following cancellation policy applies to reservations made more than 72 hours before departure:
Our captain and vessel will remain at the dock for up to one (1) hour after your scheduled departure time. If you have not arrived or contacted us within that time, your reservation will be considered a No Show and the full charter amount will be charged.
To cancel or reschedule your reservation, you must contact us directly by phone or text. Email cancellations are not accepted.
Reservations made within seventy-two (72) hours of the scheduled departure are considered last-minute bookings.
Because these reservations immediately remove the available charter from our booking calendar and leave little or no opportunity to rebook the date, the required $200 reservation deposit is earned upon booking and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you cancel a reservation that was booked within seventy-two (72) hours of departure, the $200 deposit will be retained regardless of when the cancellation occurs after booking.
This policy applies only to customer-initiated cancellations. If Out Cast Fishin Charters cancels your charter due to unsafe weather, mechanical issues, or other circumstances that prevent us from operating, the Weather Cancellation Policy above will apply.
A request to return to the dock for any reason before the scheduled end of your charter will not result in a credit, refund, or partial reimbursement.
If you request to return to the dock and then choose to continue fishing, a $200 return-to-service surcharge will be added to your charter before departing again.
Please note that returning to the dock and heading back out is not available on the following charters:
For the safety of our guests and crew, every vessel has a maximum passenger weight capacity.
It is your responsibility to notify Out Cast Fishin Charters at the time of booking, or immediately if your party changes, if the combined weight of your group exceeds the allowable capacity for your reserved vessel.
As an example, our 24-foot Sea Hunt has a maximum combined passenger weight limit of 1,200 pounds. This is the only vessel with a guest count max of 5.
Weight capacities for all vessels are available on our website under the “The Team” tab. Failure to disclose accurate passenger weights may require reassignment to a larger vessel, if available, or may result in additional charges or cancellation if accommodations cannot be made.
Call or text us and we’ll take care of you. To cancel or reschedule, reach us directly — not by email.
