Raised in Austin, Texas Shane grew up on freshwater fishing and still has a love for it. But when he moved to the Galveston area in 2002, the salty air filled his heart and soul. After meeting his future wife, who introduced him to Saltwater fishing, he developed a deep love of the ocean and all things salt. In 2013, he caught his personal best, a 27 inch slot redfish, and he was hooked. Shane worked several jobs while putting sea-time hours in and found his way to Out Cast in 2018. It was evident, that first day as a deckhand, this is what he wanted; he joined the Out Cast Captain Crew in early 2019. He has a great following and folks now call him Capt. “Shuga Shane”. He enjoys shoreline, kayaking, jetty as well as the deep blue. He takes pleasure sharing his knowledge with everyone young and experienced. His passion shines through as his customers enjoy the days on the boat with him. It is always a fun time with Shuga!

Lance has been fishing the Texas waters for as long as he can remember. What started out as a love for bass fishing, his desire to catch something ‘bigger’ quickly filled him. In a twist, he happened upon someone shark fishing from the shore; that was all it took. He ran across a fella name “Sharky”, he and his wife soon booked a trip in the 2016 early days. Lance became a Monsta Fishin ProStaff and his desire to change careers took hold. He was patient as he put seatime in and prayed for the right time. God’s blessing came in the latter part of 2019 as he passed his Captains test and joined us in early 2020. His life motto is “learn to live and love life to its fullest, love God, cherish family, and enjoy every moment you get on the water.” He has a passion for putting his customers on fish of a lifetime and making memories in the process. His customers refer to him as “Limit-out Lance” and we are happy he is a part of our crew.
